Blepharoplasty / Eyelid correction
Cosmetic surgery of the head and neck
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure in which surplus skin on the eyelids is removed along with fat pads, thus restoring a youthful appearance to the area around the eyes. The procedure may be done on the upper or lower eyelids alone, or simultaneously as complete blepharoplasty. It is mostly performed under local anesthesia, and the recovery period takes 5 to 7 days. This procedure may be combined with facelifting, chemical peeling, Botox treatment, and wrinkle correction with various fillers.
