Brachioplasty
Cosmetic surgery of the body and limbs
Due to rapid weight loss and/or aging, the skin loses its elasticity, which results in a surplus of limp, sagging skin occurring on the inner parts of the upper arms. Brachioplasty is a surgical procedure to remove that surplus skin and fatty tissue in the area of the upper arm. The operation leaves longitudinal scars on the inner parts of the upper arms. The recovery period after brachioplsty takes 10 to 14 days.
