Face lifting or stretching of the skin on the face and neck solves this problem by removal of surplus skin and stretching the relaxed subcutaneous fat and muscle tissue, thus restoring a fresh and youthful appearance to the face. The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia, and the recovery period takes approximately 7 to 14 days. The scars left by this procedure remain hidden in the natural facial lines in front of and beneath the auricles, and in the scalp. Therefore, as well as due to the fact that they heal exceptionally well, they are practcally invisible.
